My name is Jessica Keehan, and I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a UT Austin grad (Hook em' horns!). I'm also a native Austinite and a dog mom to a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Shepard Lab mix.
I was not always in love with the gym, and had almost no experience working out until weight I put on in college motivated me to exercise. First I turned to slaving away on the cardio machines, but that didn't work and I was still unhappy with my body.
I knew things needed to change, but I was scared to venture into the weight room. So I started with dumbbell exercises in my room, and eventually ventured into my apartment gym. I saw changes and felt better and better, and even felt confident enough to take a job in a Marine Corps gym! It was there that I found that I really enjoyed helping people at the gym, and decided to become a personal trainer.
Since then, I have studied and experienced everything from bodybuilding to yoga. I especially enjoy helping people with weight loss, gaining muscle, and improving flexibility and mobility. As a certified nutrition coach I can also help you build healthy diet habits that will ignite your results.
