Delicious Mushroom Turkey Burger Recipe From Chris Protein

Turkey Burger Made by Local Austin Personal Trainer Chris Protein

Here is a delicious and healthy turkey burger recipe from Chris "Protein" Leach. This meal makes for a low prep lunch or dinner that is very nutrient dense, provides a great amount of protein, and is very satisfying.

It contains spinach which is one of the most nutrient dense veggies out there. Spinach is a great source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Iron, and more. These nutrients make it great for cardiovascular health and is a powerful anti-oxidant.

This burger is high in protein which can help give you the nutritional fuel you need to build muscle and add tone. The mushrooms in it gives you selenium (another anti-oxidant), vitamin B6, and potassium.


2 Laughing Cow Cheese Spreads (the spicy one goes great with these)

Preparation Instructions:

  • Mix the mushrooms with the ground turkey and form into a patty

  • Pan fry the patty for 10-15 minutes until the exterior is a nice brown color

  • While the patty is cooking, toast your bun

  • Then spread the cheese on the bun and stick the spinach and some pickle slices to it

  • Once the patty is ready, put it on the bun and top with a few servings of the BBQ sauce

This simple recipe only takes about 15-20 minutes to make and is healthy and delicious. Hope you enjoy it!
