Simple Protein Packed Breakfast: Spinach Salmon Toast

This meal makes a tasty, quick breakfast, that is heathy, packed with protein, and moderate on the calories. It uses pre-cooked items so all you have to do is purchase the ingredients, and then put them together!


It contains salmon which is low in saturated fat and high in protein, vitamin B12, and essential omega-3 fatty acids which can improve cardiovascular health. It also has spinach which is extremely nutrient dense and high in fiber, which means it is good for digestion, can help prevent cancer, and reduces oxidative stress.


Ingredients:


1 HEB Smoked Salmon Pack (Lemon Pepper is my recommended flavor)

2 Slices Natures Own Honey Wheat Bread (Or another similar bread)

2 Laughing Cow Cheese Spreads (Garlic and Herb is my favorite)

Everything But The Bagel Seasoning (Optional for extra flavor)


Preparation Instructions:

  • First, toast two pieces of bread

  • Then spread the laughing cow cheese on them

  • Then add some of the spinach on top of the cheese spread

  • Now take the salmon out of the container and put on top of the spinach

  • Optionally top the salmon with seasoning or BBQ sauce for extra flavor

  • Enjoy!

It is that simple and takes only about 2-3 minutes to make depending on how toasty you like your toast!
