Celeste is bringing you this weeks Personal Trainer Exercise Demo! She is a pro trainer at our studio here in Austin Texas, and the movement she's going over is going to really make your legs burn. It is called the Ass To Grass (ATG) Split Squat, and it is a phenomenal exercise for the quads, hamstrings, and glutes.
This exercise is great for developing quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes, and can also be beneficial for balance, and strengthening of the hip, knee, and ankle joint.
This movement is advanced, so it is recommended that you master the conventional split squat first before moving up to this variant.
